GMS conforms fully to the requirements of ISO 17021 the standard for bodies providing audit and certification activities and has received its Accreditation certificate. GMS also conforms to ISO 17020, the standard for bodies performing inspection activities and has received the certificate (Certificate Number 3641.01) from A2LA.
GMS Registrar is a Federal Risk Authorization and Management Program (FedRAMP)-accredited Third Party Assessment Organization, providing security assessments for Cloud Service Providers. FedRAMP standardizes security approaches for the cloud. Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) is a process level improvement training and appraisal program. It is required by many United States Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. Government contracts, especially in software development. The CMMI-SVC model provides guidance for applying CMMI best practices in a service provider organization.
