GMS conforms fully to the requirements of ISO 17021 the standard for bodies providing audit and certification activities and has received its Accreditation certificate. GMS also conforms to ISO 17020, the standard for bodies performing inspection activities and has received the certificate (Certificate Number 3641.01) from A2LA.

FEDRAMP1

GMS is a Federal Risk Authorization and Management Program (FedRAMP)-accredited Third Party Assessment Organization, providing security assessments for Cloud Service Providers. FedRAMP standardizes security approaches for the cloud. According to FedRAMP.gov, “FedRAMP enables Agencies to rapidly adapt from old, insecure legacy IT to mission-enabling, secure, and cost effective cloud-based IT.”

ISO

GMS offers certification in ISO 9000, ISO 20000 and ISO 27000 standards. Receiving a certification for ISO 9000, ISO 20000 or ISO 27000 will make your customers feel confident that your company will provide enhanced customer satisfaction, while also meeting all applicable customer and regulatory requirements. CMMI INSTITUTE

Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) is a process level improvement training and appraisal program. It is required by many United States Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. Government contracts, especially in software development. The CMMI-SVC model provides guidance for applying CMMI best practices in a service provider organization. Best practices in the model focus on activities for providing quality services to customers and end users. CMMI-SVC integrates bodies of knowledge that are essential for a service provider.

O-TTPS

O-TTPS stands for the Open Trusted Technology Provider™ Standard.

O-TTPS is designed to mitigate the risk of counterfeit and tainted components and to help assure product integrity and supply chain security throughout the lifecycle of the product

Private and public sector organizations like NASA and Air Force are relying more and more on commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products to run their operations. These products are often produced globally, with development and manufacturing taking place at different sites in multiple countries

GMS is now an O-TTPS Recognized Assessor and can perform Third-Party Assessments for the O-TTPS Certification Program. 

ASME NQA‑1

The ASME NQA-1 Certification Program seeks to meet the needs of the nuclear industry by expanding the supply chain with organizations who are committed to understanding quality and providing high quality products and services.

The ASME Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA-1) Certification Program provides centralized, independent, third-party certification for quality assurance programs in conformance with the ASME NQA-1 standard, “Quality Assurance Requirements for Nuclear Facility Applications”

Examples of a nuclear facilities can include reactors such as, nuclear power plants (NPP), small modular reactors (SMR), microreactors, and advanced reactors, and the handling of radioactive and/or fissionable materials for fuel processing, and fuel recycling.
